15 Skyscrapers That Are The Tallest Buildings In The World

Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower

HISTORY

This skyscraper seems to be the most unique on our list. It does not look like the pencil towers you might have thought would help it reach that height. In Arabic, it is known as Towers of the House, and it is a complex of seven buildings serving the pilgrims of Mecca. Due to its proximity to the most holy place in Islam, the Great Mosque of Mecca, it is an ideal location.

Abraj Al-Bait Clock is named the Makkah Royal Clock Tower for its iconic clock tower. The clock tower, unsurprisingly, is home to the world’s largest clock face. It has a four-floor museum, which is home to an impressive clock museum in its tower. Even though it’s impressive on its own, it’s hard to distinguish it from the other buildings in the complex.
