18. 1969 AMX/3

It was impossible to get your hands on one of the six AMC AMX/3s in the early 1970s. It was a Giotto Bizzarrini design that was very well-received at the time.

The AMC officials agreed that a speed of 170 mph would be sufficient during the design process after Bizzarini asked about this. A powerful V8 engine with 390 cubic inch capacity, the superfast muscle car handled like a dream. It was mated with a four speed transmission that was custom built for the engine and produced 340 horsepower and 430 lbs ft of torque.

Between 1984 and 1996, Chevy’s 1984 Corvette C4 was one of the most popular cars in the world for enthusiasts of high-performance engines. Because of the 375 horsepower engine, this car reached a maximum speed of 175 mph, making it a favorite among muscle car enthusiasts. In 1984, the model had its heyday, but sales fell into the 1990s after prices began to rise.
