Hilarious Home Renovation Fails

That’s One Way to Solve a Problem

What to do when you have a fire hydrant installed where you need your stair rail to go? You don’t want that! Sure, the railings fit perfectly around the hydrant. You can’t fault them there. But when it comes to actually using the hydrant, we’d like to know what their plan of action is.

As we hope for a fire-free future for the building, we also hope to find out what came first, as we don’t believe the obvious is always the best assumption. You would have thought the rails were installed after the fire hydrant, but what if we told you it was the other way around? People are much more useless than you can ever imagine.

Would You Dare Take the Plunge?

You may be astonished at the last handicapped amenity, but we don’t think these folks will make it down in one piece. While some brave souls may find this “ramp” fun, we don’t think they will. Even so, they thoughtfully placed that giant plant at the bottom, probably to aid in the impossible task of stopping once you’ve ripped through the tunnel.

There have been some people who have taken advantage of this during the summer holidays and brought their kids over. With or without water going down, this made for a great slide that kept the kids busy for a whole 10 minutes.

McDonald’s: Failing to Support Logic

In the McDonald’s store, there is a large load-bearing column taking up a great deal of space without carrying any weight. Why did they install such a gross, ineffective object that obstructs and disrupts?

McDonald’s appears to be using some magnetic technology here; we’d say, just like the Mackebab, this is a failure of epic proportions; unless it is so ahead of its time. If you could name one person or state where the Mackebab was successful, that would be great. We cannot understand big chains that think if they succeed at one thing, they will succeed at everything.
