Hilarious Home Renovation Fails

Leaning Tower of… Jeez, is That Thing Stable?

A twist of irony would be that the owners claim that this isn’t a fault in the house; they designed it to mimic the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Their neighbors smile politely, but everyone knows that this was the result of a disastrous renovation project.

In any case, at least living in a leaning home would keep life interesting, wouldn’t it? Besides, when money is short, and the world recession is looming, let’s pretend we are in Pisa, with everything available just outside our door.

A most Important Message

“Gosh darn it, those neighbor dogs keep getting into our yard and pooping on our lawn.” This is logic at its best. “It must be a gate issue.” Closed and locked. Problem solved. Building the fence? Ah, I’ll have to deal with that one later.”

Anyone can’t get through this one, big or small, on the lead or off it. This must have won the best innovative gadget for a personal household award for 2020.

Stairs to Nowhere

The staircase/ramp relationship in this photo is an excellent exercise for the mind. Our best guess is that the original plan was to let residents enter the door via the staircase. While construction was underway, they decided to build a walkway over it (presumably), connecting it to another building. Regardless of the reason, this pointless staircase makes you wonder if the rest of the construction could be trusted.

The building was originally supposed to have a staircase, but something changed their minds, and instead of a staircase, they built a bridge. Haven’t they heard about cleaning up afterward?
