As a result of new height restrictions for future projects, Beijing’s CITC Tower, also known as China Zun, may remain the tallest building for a long time.. China Zun owes its name and design to a historical vessel whose shapes were abstracted for its record-breaking structure. Zuns were ancient Chinese wine vessels used for rituals during the Bronze Age.As an added benefit, the vessel’s natural curve, which is wider at the top and bottom, but thinner at the middle, offers strong seismic protection.
