Do people become funnier as they age, or do people who are humorous live longer? It’s difficult to pinpoint, but research from Scientific American suggests that older men who laugh regularly may even be immune to diseases, and that women with great senses of humor tend to live longer, even when they get sick. Women with high humor scores had a 48% lower risk of dying from all causes and a 73% lower risk of dying from heart disease, according to a 15-year research conducted in Norway.
