Stairs, Please

People install doors several feet above the ground all the time. They usually just remember to include a staircase so you can actually use the door. Is this an epic prank played on the tenants of room 70?

We hope they were out when the prank was pulled; otherwise, they might not notice the missing staircase while having their first cup of coffee for the day.

Wrong Measurements

When storing items such as dishes and silverware, it’s nice to have drawers. I would also like to know if I can actually open the drawers. In my opinion, this contractor didn’t get the exact measurements right for installing the kitchen cabinet. It’s either that or this is the worst childproofing ever!

It could easily have been turned into a short wine draw, a sliding rack for spices and other bottles. The constructor chose to take the short route. Just left it as is.

There’s another way to make your bathroom more usable: even if you have marble counters, you still need to be able to sit down on the toilet.

There’s no way to fix this home renovation fail without ripping it all out and starting over. Either that or you need to take yoga or pilates lessons to ensure you’re flexible enough to handle it.
