It all started when Grandpa purchased a flatscreen television The estimated cost is $500 to $1,000* You can’t argue with that, can you? A grandfather with a new television sent us this Christmas card: “Sorry, I had planned to add a bit to the check, but I decided to buy myself a new TV.”

As long as Grandpa Pete’s honest, he didn’t let anyone think he was strapped for cash. Instead, he told his grandchildren and kids he wanted to treat himself with a flatscreen.
